Ahead of the 2021 Summer Olympics, Lambda Legal, Campbell Ewald, and other national partners launched “Stack the Deck Against Hate” to celebrate the achievements of transgender athletes and combat the wave of anti-transgender legislation within sports.
Since its launch, the campaign has recycled stacks of discriminatory bills into sports trading cards that honor trans athletes across the U.S. The cards feature personal stories of trans athletes, provide information on how to enact meaningful change, and convey a powerful message of trans solidarity.
Among those featured in the campaign are Mack Karam Beggs, two-time state wrestling champion; Fallon Fox, the first openly trans professional mixed martial artist; and Patricio Manuel, the first trans man boxer in the U.S. For more information on the “Stack the Deck Against Hate” campaign, click here.
